About Beth.

In 2012, Beth enrolled in a floral design course at Pearson’s School of Floristry in Sydney, attending class on weekends while she continued working in media.

During this time she began making early morning trips to the flower market before work, keen to create for anyone and everyone, delivering bouquets around Sydney before heading to work at her office job all day.

In 2014 she moved to London and unexpectedly took a few years rest from flowers, committing to media full time. On her days off she visited cities in Europe and other parts of the world, drawing colour and vintage design inspiration from new cultures and cities, which influence her floral work today.

After returning to Sydney in 2017, Beth spent the next three years working for other florists, learning and honing her skills, and in 2020 finally felt ready to bring Dandy Flora to life - and so here we are!

Dandy Flora is a culmination of three things Beth loves – vintage design, beautiful, colourful flowers and immense care for the environment.

I love and value the work we florists do, and the last 18 months of the pandemic have shown me that flowers are needed, now more than ever. I’m proud to be able to source from the most wonderful growers and wholesalers here in Sydney, where we have access to a huge and unique variety of beauty, so lovingly created by each of the growers. I hope to share this beauty with as many people as I can.
